Kevin Cummins Joins Franklin Square Group As Partner
Leading Innovation Firm Boosts Cybersecurity and Software Expertise.

Washington, D.C. – Franklin Square Group today announced Kevin Cummins will be joining the
firm as Partner.

Kevin Cummins brings to the Franklin Square Team his extensive professional experience
working in federal policy on a host of cybersecurity and software-related issues. Kevin joins
Franklin Square after most recently serving as the Senior Director of Government Affairs at
Zscaler, a company focused on cybersecurity and cloud transformation technology. He also
served as the Senior Director of U.S. Government Affairs for SAP America, Inc., where he
worked on a number of software security issues.

Prior to joining the private sector, Kevin served in the U.S. Senate as a senior advisor for
Senator Tom Udall (D-NM), who was on the Senate Commerce Committee and the
Appropriations Committee, as well as a senior professional staff member on the Senate
Commerce Committee.

Kevin holds a Masters in International Affairs from Georgetown University, as well as B.A. in
International Studies and French from the University of Washington.
